Common questions
What's included in 'support and updates'?
Annual support covers bug fixes, minor updates to product data (new models, updated fan curves), and compatibility updates as macOS/Windows evolve. Major new product families or significant engine changes are scoped separately.
Do you offer web-based tools or desktop only?
Both. Desktop applications run fully offline — no internet dependency for selections, which matters for site engineers and distributors in the field. Web applications are available for Starter and above on request, and included in the Enterprise tier. Web tools require an internet connection.
How does the AI spec parser work?
The AI parser reads project specification documents — PDF, Word, or email — and extracts all equipment schedules automatically. It identifies unit tags, airflows, temperatures, static pressures, water conditions, and project location, then runs the full selection for every unit in the document. A 20-unit commercial project is fully selected and documented in under two minutes.
What data do you need from us to build the tool?
Fan test data (curves or performance tables), heat exchanger specifications, coil catalogue data, acoustic data, and dimensional drawings. We work with whatever format you have — Excel, PDF, or test reports — and structure it into the selection engine.
Can we add product families after delivery?
Yes. New product families are quoted based on engineering complexity and data availability. Most additions are delivered in 2–4 weeks. Annual support subscribers get discounted rates for additions.
Is the software branded as ours?
Completely. Your logo, your colours, your product names, your part numbers. The application shows no Clima International branding unless you want it to. It looks like it was built in-house.
What does delivery look like?
We work in a structured process: data intake and validation, engine build and testing, output design, client review and revisions, final delivery. You're involved at each stage. We don't disappear for three months and appear with something unexpected.
